The plants are 2-3 cm long and dark brown in color. The branches are strap-shaped, dichotomously divided, 2-3 mm wide, with a distinct midrib that appears throughout the entire length. It grows on rocks of the adjacent to border with sand bottom at deeper place along moderately wave exposed shorelines.
